Everyone in Vermont is a stakeholder in the process of reforming health care. All Vermonters will benefit from the Triple Aim: better health care, improved population health, and lower health care costs per capita. Participants in VHCIP activities include representatives from Vermont ACOs, hospitals, clinics, and medical centers; independent medical providers; private insurance payers; medical providers’ associations; mental health services; colleges, universities, and institutes; community and business organizations; faith-based entities; advocacy and ombuds services; Planned Parenthood; consulting firms; consumers; the Green Mountain Care Board; and many state entities, with heavy participation from DAIL, DMH, DOC, DVHA, and VDH.
