As a result of stakeholder support in the state, legislation was passed in Vermont requiring that DVHA, in collaboration with the State’s home health agencies, develop a prospective payment system (PPS) for home health payments made by DVHA under traditional Medicaid (exclusive of waivers) to be put in place by July 1, 2016. Activity discontinued; decision made in collaboration with CMMI in April 2016.
